1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Football Connect ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your country, to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Licence to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, Football Connect grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, lawful purposes. You may not: copy, modify, or distribute the App; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; use the App for unlawful purposes; interfere with the operation or security of the App; use automated tools to scrape or harvest data without permission.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for: maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials; ensuring your account information is accurate; all activity occurring under your account. You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. User Content
Football Connect allows users to create profiles, upload content, post listings, communicate with other users, and participate in football-related activities. You retain ownership of content you submit. By uploading content, you grant Football Connect a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: post illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or offensive content; impersonate another person or organisation; upload malicious software or harmful code; harass, stalk, or intimidate other users; publish another person's private information without consent; use the App for fraud, scams, or deceptive practices; attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts.
7. Messaging and User Interactions
Football Connect provides tools that allow users to communicate directly. We are not responsible for the actions, statements, or conduct of users. Users interact at their own risk. We reserve the right to monitor, investigate, review, or remove messages and content where necessary to: enforce these Terms; investigate complaints; protect users; comply with legal obligations.
8. Teams, Matches, Events and Listings
Football Connect may allow users to create or participate in: player profiles; team listings; club listings; football opportunities; events; matches; training sessions. Football Connect does not guarantee: the accuracy of user-created listings; attendance at events; player ability or qualifications; the conduct of users offline. Users are responsible for verifying information independently.
9. Safety Disclaimer
Football activities involve physical risks. Participation in football matches, training sessions, trials, events, or meetups arranged through the App is entirely at your own risk. Football Connect is not responsible for injuries, losses, damages, disputes, or incidents arising from participation in activities organised by users.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if a user: breaches these Terms; engages in harmful or illegal conduct; creates risk for other users; abuses the platform. We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

Account deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual Property
The App, branding, logos, software, design, and related materials are owned by Football Connect or its licensors. These Terms do not grant ownership rights to users.
13. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to third-party services, websites, or content. We are not responsible for third-party services and their use is governed by their own terms and policies.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Football Connect makes no warranties regarding: availability; reliability; accuracy; uninterrupted access; fitness for a particular purpose.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Football Connect, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for: indirect or consequential damages; loss of profits; loss of data; business interruption; personal injury arising from user interactions or football activities. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, liability will be limited to the amount paid by the user for the service during the previous 12 months, if any.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Football Connect harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from: your use of the App; your content; your breach of these Terms; your interactions with other users.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
